How big is the pitch compared to a football pitch?
One of the questions we receive most often is about the size of the land since it is difficult to understand how large 5000 square meters actually are.
For this reason we decided to take into consideration a dimension that we all have more or less an idea of what it could be.
I’m talking about a Serie A football pitch.
An official football pitch has variable measurements but in general a good pitch can measure around 105 meters in length and 65 meters in width.
We therefore decided to buy it with the available parcels of land in Costa Rica so that you can really evaluate how you can exploit such a large piece of land.
If you already think about the size of your house you can easily understand the potential of the land but let’s really try to compare it with a football pitch.
In this image you can see that a football pitch has a surface area of approximately 6825m2.
If we wanted to simplify the size of a plot we could think of a rectangle 100m2 long and 50m2 wide, totaling 5000m2.
On this land we could easily build several 150m2 villas with private swimming pools.
The representation you see on the video is to scale and takes into consideration 150m2 villas on a single floor. So clearly by building on more floors the size occupied on the ground would decrease.
It must be taken into consideration that the maximum you can build is 15% of your land, so in this case 750m2.
Furthermore, each terrain can have different slopes or different characteristics such as trees and vegetation.
The plots can be delimited with hedges so that you can have maximum privacy.
