Costa Rica is a fairly safe place. The incidents of crime mainly concern locals as they often participate in drug trafficking rings and things of this kind, while tourists, visitors and inhabitants from foreign countries are not affected by crime.

Costa Rica is generally considered a safe tourist destination. However, as in any other country, it is always important to take basic precautions to ensure your safety.

For example, avoid showing valuable objects in public, pay attention to your personal belongings, especially in crowded areas, and find out about potentially dangerous areas or any precautions to take in certain places.

Furthermore, it is advisable to follow the advice of hotel staff or local authorities to maintain a safe and pleasant experience during your visit.

The village is located in Santa Rosa De Pocosol which is a very quiet area.
